Short and in plain language:

• Information only. Listings summarise official sources at the date checked, but ordinances change and summaries can contain errors. Posted signage and current local law always take precedence. You're responsible for your dog at all times.
• No warranty. The site is provided as-is; to the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for loss (including fines) arising from reliance on listings.
• Content. Underlying rules are public facts published by their authorities; our original text, structure and synthesis are © Dog Beach Index. Quote with attribution; don't bulk-copy the site.
• Visitor posts and photos. By submitting a post you confirm it's your own first-hand experience, grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish and edit it for length/clarity, and accept that we moderate before publishing and may decline or remove posts (especially anything defamatory, commercial, or containing personal information). By uploading a photo you confirm that you took it or have the owner's permission, that anyone identifiable in it has consented to it being published, and that it carries no third-party watermark and isn't a screenshot. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to display, resize and crop the photo on the site, in share previews and on the site's social accounts, with attribution to your display name. We may decline or remove any photo. You can ask us to remove your own post or photo at any time.
• Corrections. Errors fixed and removal requests honoured within 7 days via the corrections page.
