The rules, verified
- Pets must be leashed (up to 6 feet) at all times
- Allowed on park beaches, campgrounds and boardwalks
- Not permitted in park buildings or the beach directly in front of Malaquite Visitor Center
- Pick up and dispose of pet waste
- Watch for rattlesnakes and coyotes; carry water for your dog
